Fashion Revolution Česká republika, z.s. unites the individuals interested in sustainability of the fashion industry and aims to spread awareness about the necessity of that across the Czech society. Organization follows the news from the world of sustainability on the global scene as well on the local scene and collaborates with designers and experts. Every April the Czech Republic Fashion Revolution Week is organized in major Czech cities. From 2020 is involved in an educational series of projects called RecyCOOL! and now is starting its own research about shopping habits in Czech area. Fashion Revolution Global publishes yearly the Fashion Transparency Index of the 250 biggest global fashion brands. reviews and ranks 250 of the biggest global fashion brands and retailers according to how much they disclose about their social and environmental policies, practices and impact. Brands have been chosen on the basis of their annual turnover, over $400 million USD and representing a spread of market segments including high street, luxury, sportswear, accessories, footwear and denim from across Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Africa. Fashion Revolution Česká republika, z.s. was registered in 2017 but the Fashion Revolution movement in Czech republic was founded earlier in 2014. Since the beginning it has brought into public media the topics of sustainability in the fashion industry.

Zuzana Ryšavá

Zuzana Ryšavá has been following the news about sustainable fashion for seven years. In the Fashion Revolution Czech Republic and Slovakia started as Social Media Manager and later became the Country Coordinator in Fashion Revolution Czech republic. She is also one of the statutory members of the organization.

Martin Beneš

Recent MA graduate in Textile Design Innovation at Nottingham Trent University. His creative practice focuses on exploring speculative and sustainable material futures, particularly in areas of knitted textiles and bio-fabrication. As a passionate researcher holding a previous degree in Fashion Communication and Trend Forecasting, Martin worked on sustainability research and trend forecasting projects both through his independent practice as well as at companies such as White Stuff, Stance and Unilever.

Martin has participated in a number of Erasmus+ international youth exchanges and training courses all across Europe, focusing mainly on sustainability, global development and human rights.
